Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is the largest student association in Europe. It was founded on October 16th, 1989, and legally registered in 1990 with the aim of supporting and developing student exchanges.

We are present in over 1000 Higher Education Institutions across 39 countries. The network is constantly growing and expanding, with approximately 13,000 active members who are supported by so-called "buddies" in many sections, primarily taking care of international students. As a result, ESN involves around 40,000 young people who offer their services to approximately 350,000 international students every year.

ESN operates in the field of Higher Education, providing services to 350,000 students. With its 13,000 active members (34,000 including buddies), it primarily operates on a voluntary basis, experiencing an average annual growth rate of 12% since 2005.

ESN operates at three levels: local, national, and international. We work towards creating a more mobile and flexible educational environment by supporting and developing student exchanges from various perspectives, and by providing an intercultural experience to those students who may not have the opportunity to go abroad ("internationalization at home").
